An excellent TVI'll keep this one short and sweet. Ive had this TV for several weeks now, and couldn't be happier.
The picture is awesome. Our other TV is a Sony 40 inch, which is another highly rated LCD, and I made my own comparison by watching a Stanley Cup Hockey game on both TV's and could not tell any difference. A Hockey game broadcast in HD is a very good test for your TV's clarity, and this Toshiba did not disappoint.
The dynamic aspect ratio works great.
The fact that Toshiba doesn't publish the contrast ratio should not be a deterrent for getting this TV. Contrast ratio is a marketing gimmick, and the determination should be that if you look at the picture, and it looks great to your eyes, who cares what the actual contrast ratio is? The blacks look black, and the whites look white, and there isn't much more to worry about.
Good price for a great TV
Such a deal...I did a lot of research before I chose my first television and let me tell you the amount of information to digest was overwhelming. But after narrowing it down to just 2 possibles, I felt like the Toshiba was for me. I then took the plunge and ordered it with Amazon's 24-month no interest plan, which was a great deal. I had the television at my door step in 5 days I think.
I'll be honest, I don't know much about all of the bells and whistles that come with new televisions but the Toshiba 40E200U is perfect for me. It has a great picture in both standard definition and HD. The sound is crisp and the look is sleek. A perfect choice for my narrow living room. As soon as I read the manual and learn about all of the fun features I'll add something new to this review.

Fantastically crisp picture. Very impressed. I picked this up for $399 during a pre-Christmas sale. Couldn't be more impressed! The 1080p picture is beautiful and even things like Wii look amazing.
